Popular pub, friendly barmaid, I had Moorehouse's 'Broomstick Bitter' [decent ale], Phoenix 'Shamrock' [not bad & smooth], and Saltaire 'Citra' [zesty refreshing ale].

Staff still efficient, busy on our recent visit, good range of ales on; I had Leprechaun Stout [tasty ale], Hadrian Border Brewery 'Farne Island' [nice golden ale], Backtop 'Pavilion Pale Ale' [refreshing pint], Hanlon's 'Yellow Hammer' [nice & refreshing], Acorn 'Abbey Road' [sharp tasty pint] & Naylor's 'Rose' [smooth ale].

Swan and Railway, Wigan

Quite busy on our recent visit, friendly locals, pleasant & helpful barmaids, 7 ales on. I indulged in Rat Brewery 'White Rat' [decent pint] & Riverhead Brewery 'Lemon Sherbet' [nice & tasty].
