The Tandem, Kennington

nice chain pub, cheap good food, great beer and guest ales, large garden, and great setting for the kids with play area and a railway line running at end of the garden, overlooking the Thames in the distance. Gets very busy, but staff cope well. Games room at front.

The Red Lion Inn, Chalgrove

Superb food, great guest ales always on, cosy old little pub, with larger restaurant area out back, great garden for summertime drinks with kids at rear, and picturesque beer garden out front. Staff very helpful, friendly and accommodating. Lovely warm real pub atmosphere with open fire to keep you snug in winter. Food exceptional, can't recommend enough.

The White Horse, Hedgerley

best pub ever- this is what it is all about, whether for a quiet summertime evening/ day drink, winter warming ale, or full on beer fest. Great home food and summer BBqs.

lovely surrounding woodland walks.

Very friendly family run pub, with friendly local atmosphere. go there.
