The Manor Farm, Rainhill

this pub needs taking back to what it was 3 or 4 years ago . been frequenting the manor for 10 years or more and got some great memories of the old Sunday nights when it would be totally rammed for the ' play your cards right " and every man and his dog would be in the beer garden in the summer . There was a quality carvery downstairs , the staff were great , and the beer always spot on .It was a bit cliquey but always a warm atmosphere
How times have changed . walk in on a Sunday evening now and you will most probably be greeted by an empty pub , dis-interested teenage barstaff ,the remnants of lunchtime food service still on the tables and a general tiredness of the pub as a whole .Bit sad really ,got everything in place in terms of building and location to be a great charachter pub .
