I can only think I live in some bizarre parallel universe to everyone that hates this pub so much.

I've been going there for years because it has good beer, good food, and a friendly atmosphere.

Some of the previous reviewers are scraping the barrel a bit. One complains that he has to go upstairs to pee; another that the barman looks like a foreigner; a third that the beer is cheap.

If it's so crap, why is it thronged with people every time I visit?
