The Pineapple, Kentish Town

I have lived in Kentish Town for the last 30 years and have drunk in the Pineapple on and off for 25.
I have seen 4 lots of licencee's come and go and changes to the pub for better and worse.
The latest changes to the bar have (in my opinion) made a vast improvement to what was a dark pub in need of an uplift. I agree with previous postings that the service is slow but this is a "real" pub where the barstaff are not only interested in taking your money but talk to you as well, they also have the added task of having to leave the bar to colect food from the upstairs kitchen to serve in the Garden and conservetory. Overall this is a very nice local pub with pleasant bar staff and a very varied cliental who are friendly and willing to talk to whoever walks through the door.
