The Blind Beggar, Whitechapel

To all those who've criticised this it might be worth mentioning that this pub has just won Best Bar & Best Pub-restaurant in East london from the Archant Food & Drink awards. Obviously their doing something right

The Masons Arms, Solihull

Has had a new manager in the last couple of months and doesn't it show. Arguably the best pint in Solihull for kegged beers and the Bass is still kept well. The chav's of old have been greatly reduced although not completely eliminated. They now look out of place with the new gaffers music and door policy. Food is average pub grub at good prices. Where this pub really excels is major sporting events. The atomosphere in here for big football games or internationals of any sport can't be beaten anywhere in the town. It does get a bit crowded though so be warned
