The Spyglass Inn, Ventnor

The first few times I visited here I was impressed, but this faded the more often I went - to the point where I won't return.

The food is pretty standard and not much to get excited about. The staff are very off-hand.

It's clear that this establishment has been setup to make the most money possible, primarily from tourists - however and whenever they can. Among an assortment of the lowest tricks? Charging our very young daughter �1.50 for an extra roll with her soup!

There's a lot better places in Ventnor - masses of them.
