The Kingston Mill, Kingston Upon Thames

This place has just undergone a massive facelift-it's not super studenty anymore (though the crowd is still a younger one). They've got 2 guest ales on and a traditional cider (Old Rosie I think!) The staff were really friendly and while we didn't eat there, the food that went past us looked pretty good. Definitely worth a visit next time you're in the area!

Market Tavern, Mayfair

Went here for a cheeky after work pint-what I find! Easily the best pub in the area with a brilliant selection of beers. The staff knew what they were on about too! Will definitely be back for more!

The Calf, Clapham

We had a birthday party yesterday at The Calf and it was brilliant. Excellent service- the new manager made sure we had the table we wanted and even treated the birthday girl to a glass of prosecco! The food was great (if a little rich!) and the wine selection was really good too. This was my first visit and I'll definitely be back for more
