The Flower Pot Hotel, Sunbury on Thames

visited this pub many years ago and enjoyed it immensley. went there recently hoping to eat with family, the barman/owner was very unfriendly with regard younger children. went back the following week for a few beers with some colleagues and relaised we were not dressed in the correct attire to be deemed suitable for this place - boating shoes, a sou'wester rolled up, a captains hat and a set of oars - although you can always find a few of the latter propping up the bar most nights!! never again

The Three Fishes, Sunbury on Thames

I have visited this pub on many occasions, although its quite friendly at certian times of the day it does play host to a selection of odd people whether they pass through or are regualrs-it amazes me. I agree there is always a large man playing darts, and the very threatening looking barman with the mis-spelt tattoos. there is also a peter andre look-a-like serving and the usual array of merriment. its often a pleasure to watch the frolics in this pub. a must see!!
