Gordon Bennett, Tooting Broadway

Although Tooting may not be the most pleasant of places, there seems to be a certain characteristic that would attract the individual to this ghastly, scummy place. Drinks are cheap, the bouncers are alert and the staff (male ones atleast) are friendly! Although not much can be said for the lack of hospitality exhumed from the stocky, bush haired woman! (Straightners and a slim fast woudlnt go amiss dear...).
However Richard (Pub manager) is charming and welcoming, though slightly flirtatious to the lucky individuals who are invited for a "late night drink" after closing hours. BUT, he is lovely and a definite perk to the pub... also some may consider him *tash looks at sian and winks enthusiastically* to be pretty "damn fine bitch"!

Why would someone rather minted, from Knightsbridge wearing a 4 piece tweed suit even be found in Tooting. Pub = Casual.
We agree it lacks a certain class (cheap argos jewellery and all...) but you do find the odd well mannered, pretty faced, socialble, humoured character.

Dont lets those arses cloud your judgement until you actually make the trip to the Gordon Bennett.
