The Ram, Kingston Upon Thames

Loved it for the 3 years I have been back in the area, until today... two staff on duty, one "taking a break" the other on the phone for 10 minutes and then serving her mates (who just entered the pub) while at least 3 others have been waiting for her to finish the call. I blame the management, never around and obviously don't train the staff in being aware of who's next, THE most important skill of bar staff.

The Windsor Castle, Clapham Junction

I go in on Sunday nights, if I have been in town, the junction being a good place to change from train to bus, I always have to wait to be served as it is a regulars pub, I understand that as I have worked behind a bar or two for 30 years, but, tonight 2/3/3 I was astounded by the attitude of the barmaid, on arriving I could see 2 people waiting so OK, I thought, whilst she was serving the second another regular finished his drink and waved the empty glass, the girl served him, then two more people walked in, she turned to me and said "just give me a few minutes more" "What?" I walked out, and I will never go there again.
