Old Broken Cross, Rudheath

Please read this and bear in mind if you want to visit this public (inconvenient) house!

I wanted to book The Old Broken Cross for a gathering after the funeral of our Nan, we tried for 4 days to get through and visited on many ocassion, however no one would answer the phone and the pub never appeared to be open. On the one occassion I did get a response I was told by a member of staff that I would have to speak to the Manageress and was given a mobile telephone number....... OH great I thought finally I was getting somewhere. How wrong was I. I explained to the lady that I wanted to book the pub for a funeral gathering only to be greeted with who has given you this number followed by sheer ranting.(I have never been spoken to so rudely in my entire life). She then put the phone down on me.

I am therefore very sadden to say that our Nan will not get her final send of in the place which she once shared so many good time with her family..... and all because of the incapable and incompetent managment.
