The Plough Inn, Lower Arncott

Visited a friend at the weekend, felt like a beer and ended up here. Both surprised....in a good way. This was described by my local friend as a bikers pub and therefore he hadn't been there for some time.
Turns out the pub has new owners (well been there for 10 months or so as informed by the welcoming and friendly pub landlord). This pub serves a crisp and cold pint...COLD! Pool table, darts and the footy...result! Biggest surprise was the menu, kangaroo, water buffalo and indian cuisine. This water buffalo got served u[p with a stone hot brick which you can cook to your own taste. Genius and tasted amazing.
Outcome, I'll be back when I next visit and my friend has found himself a new local.
