The Station Hotel, Didsbury

Definately an "old man's pub", but sometime's that's what you want. Good beer, friendly atmosphere and there's some good old charater to chat to at the bar.

The Railway, Didsbury

I really like this pub. The staff are friendly and efficient, and there are always enough of them behind the bar to provide you with unusually fast service. I find this pub as close to traditional as you can get, and I grew up in Wensleydale.

I'm a bitter drinker, and the bitter is very well kept, far better than any other Holt's pub I've been in to, and at �1.85 a pint you really cannot complain.

The pub is always clean and tidy, and I have never experienced unclean toilets in there.
