I must confess to being a bit of a fraud in that I rarely go to pubs in the evening but I couldn't find a 'Beer and Lunch on a Saturday' web site. I do have a certificate proving I'm a real reverend though.
A quick note on my comments - Eurofiz is my name for mass produced largely tasteless lagers and beers such as Carlsberg, Carling, Boddingtons etc. and as I'm from the generation that drank Ben Truman you can take it that I know crap when I taste it!
Having just had a flick through my comments I also appear to have a pie fixation.

I'm told that the building is subsiding and that the owner has attempted to sell the site so it looks like the end of the line.

Clearly you can't keep a good pub down. Currently being refurbished and they are advertising for staff. I hope things work out this time as I've always liked the place.
