The Railway Inn, Mansfield

Excellent, cosy, welcoming, community pub serving excellent value home cooked food and an ever changing selection of 3 real ales and 2, sometimes 3, real ciders all in tip top condition. Best pub in the town centre by far, just being redecorated giving it a brighter look. Dog friendly too. Small garden area and covered in outdoor smoking area. Well worth a visit.

The Stag and Pheasant, Mansfield

No longer Chicago, now owned by the Wetherspoons chain under the name of Stag & Pheasant serving up to 3 real ales. Can get busy on weekend evenings when there is a charge to go in but otherwise there is plenty of seating available. .
