The Quays, Mytchett

Went last night - dreadful. All comments are right. Grubby, understaffed, food mediocre. Location is perfect but that's all there is to recommend it. There's an A4 sheet of 'unavailable items' at the food ordering point - notably eggs (!), steak and fajitas but the list got longer as the evening progressed. I pointed out that Asda was open but none of the few staff who could drive could be spared to go out. Waited ages for food, ages for drink and AGES for puddings. I cleared our table, both before we could use it and after our main course because we were tired of looking at the dirty plates. The kids (staff) are very willing but haven't got a clue - I feel sorry for them.

A dreadful place - wouldn't waste my money there again. What a waste of a perfect summer location!
