The New Inn, Pembridge

Agree with previous posts about location and lovely ancient feeling. On the flip-side, customer service was not a strong point, nor the food. I was looking forward to an excellent herefordshire steak (rare) and my partner, pheasant. Neither delivered, the steak was tough and overcooked and the pheasant was dry, despite being covered in gravy. As service was an effort I would recommend that no one else makes the effort to enter this establishment. Fortunately, there are many other pubs offering excellent food and service with a smile in the area.
