The Chatterton Arms, Bromley

Staff are welcoming and the punters are very friendly. Quiz night on Thursdays and live entertainment on Friday & Saturday.

Beer is on the pricey side for Bromley - 3.60 for a pint of Stella. They don't serve food but have no objection to you bringing your own stuff in - there's a good local bakery just across the road selling pasties and the like - so it works out quite well.

Heated smoking area to the rear and a huge beer garden.

This is a no frills pub, but it feels very comfortable

The Babbity Bowster, Glasgow

I visited a couple of times in April 2010.

Beers are on the pricey side, but this seems to deter the 'Neds' so that is no bad thing!

Service was friendly and efficient. The landlord is a great character and has some good stories.

Well worth a visit.

The Grasshopper, Parkstone

Since my last review in 2007, I have revisited this pub and things have improved enormously. Attentive staff and tasty food.

7/10
