The Catherine of Aragon, West Byfleet

This pub couldnt be any more convenient for us as we live a 3 minute walk away, but aside from being just down the road, we've found it to be quite a nice pub. The bar staff are always friendly and chatty, the decor's much improved since the old Claremont days, and the foods pretty good and inexpensive.

It's a shame that more people don't make use of it, as it always seems quiet (weekday evenings), but I think it's old reputation puts people off. We're certainly glad we gave it a try, it's a nice place to go and have a steak and a pint after work, and in the summer, its nice to go and sit outside in the garden.

I noticed they're also doing quiz nights so we'll be going to the next one.
