worst thing that ever happened to this pub was its conversion from an Irish to a polish venue. Backfired because now they all go to the Tune Inn and the Irish have found somewhere better.
used to be a good Karaoke place but even that was rubbish when we last went in, the girl was more interested in pretending to be a DJ and playing incessant noise rather that calling up the people that had put songs in.
I guess its the old "you pay peanuts..." Come on Gerry you can do better than that.

The Red Lion, Greenford

New governor definately an improvement on previous ones. I have been in there for my lunch and there are a few hangers on from the Red Lion old days but on the whole the atmosphere is better. Went in for Karaoke on Saturday and it was lively enough although they are not going to be doing it anymore apparently, they are sticking to live bands. Catch 'Power of Soul' when they are down there if you get a chance. Excellent

The Duke Of York, Chiswick

New owners been there about two months now. Trying to get rid of the riff raff (of which there is plenty) But not hard enough!
Karaoke on now every Friday, a few singers but not sure if this is the right place for a karaoke.Recently had Sky TV installed They need to decide who they want in and try not to please everybody as at the moment they seem to be trying everything.
Watch this space anyway
