The Railway Telegraph, Forest Hill

Shepherd Neame have refurbed the place inside and out. Playing jazz/ Frank Sinatra last time I went at lunchtime. Music choice did'nt suit the place at all considering it is facing a warehouse on the South Circular. Cask ales were good not brilliant and bloody pricey at nearly £4.00 a pint. Bar staff were ok. I'll stick to the Capitol for now.

The Opera House, Tunbridge Wells

Impressive are the insides of this pub as it used be a theatre. Trouble is there is very little natural light in the place. Good choice of ales, decent bar staff and most of the punters seem well behaved and friendly enough.

The Slug and Lettuce, Clapham Junction

I have fairly stomach, but this is the one where I got food poisoning eating an undercooked chicken pie. Needless to say I won't be returning.
