The George, Eton

Sooo disappointing. After trying to find somewhere nice to eat on Sunday we finally settled on the George cause the menu looked great. However...
We started with nachos to share which came with barely melted cheese, tomato sauce salsa, and flavourless guacomole. Very very average.
They then took about 15 mins to clear away the starter before letting the kitchen know we were ready for mains.
I had the Club Wrap which might have been nice if the taste wasnt totally overpowered by the burnt wrap.
My boyfriend had the Beef Stew with Dumplings which came only warm, not hot and without any of the advertised potatoes! Very small meal.
We asked about the lack of potatoes and they apologised and said they would take my Pepsi off the bill (which was about �1.50!!) which we felt was a bit crap considering the meal had come without one if its main ingrediants and the potatoes was one of the main reason my boyfriend chose it!

Overall, it was a huge disappointment. Ruined our day as we were really looking forward to a nice lunch and EVERYTHING was below average. Would not recommend.
