Used to be a great old pub when Steve Gregry had it, but now its got no manager most of the time and no atmosphere really. Good beers though, Deuchars on draught. Food is a bit microwaveish.

Just been to the Triton for Sunday Lunch - wow, what a change! This pub had got a bit run down last year but has now been done up really nice. Lovely leather furniture, real ales, even in the restaurant, food and simple snacks as well. And no bloody Sky Sports. Really friendly staff - love it. Bit dear on drinks (10 p a pint more than the Fox in Cave) but worth the extra I suppose. Loads of great wines as well and they sell anything by the glass. Me and the girls like it anyway!

The Green Dragon, Welton
What a shame - its a nice building but the decorators wrecked it a few years ago and its lost all its atmosphere. Got live music on a Friday, but iot just attracts the yobs. Foodies have taken over really, or people staying the night. Got real ales, but a very strange manager called John. He made it clear that he doesnt like us girls in 'his' pub!
