The Edinboro Castle, Camden

Great pub on a Sunday for watching sport on TV, reading the paper and getting a great lunch. The design changes over the last year have been interesting but not so bad that you can't enjoy yourself here. I would much rather sit here now than before with the pool tables, just a better group of punters now. The food is outstanding and the beer selection above the norm. Although already mentioned the BBQ outside in the summer can't be missed. The sights and smells make for a great place. Keep up the good work.

The Fox and Hounds, Battersea

First experience in this boozer on Saturday after a club meeting at the nearby Latchmere Leisure Facility. Bar staff are great although the lack of any "pub grub" or snacks was disappointing. No crisps or chips but they did have mixed nuts at �1.80 a serving. Dinner service started at 7:00 although the menu is much too posh for sweaty sport lads looking for a cold beer. No chance of a burger and chips. Needless to say, I had too much to drink and left one of my kit bags in the bar not realizing until I couldn't pay for the cab home. I called the pub on Sunday to see if they still had it and they did. When I went to retrieve my belongings on Sunday, even my Mars Bar was left in tact, not to mention the �120 in my wallet. I'll be back but not with an empty stomach. Thanks.
