The Blue Anchor, Helston

i keep finding myself drawn back to this lovely little pub.... i says little very loosely as it resmble the tardis inside, it goes on and on out the back with little pocket place to secrete youself away into for a peaceful pint of middle......truly lovely pub with all the character of days gone by!

Rodney Inn, Helston

by day this is a great pub but by night it's awful. turns into a mass of hormones and fighting drunkards and youngsters...on the upside though the stafff are friendly and presentable and the prices are reasonable. definately go by day people.

The Red Lion, Helston

popped in for a visit a while back as i know from previous visits they do guest cask ale. i wasn't disappointed with the Bass...truly a delicious pint at a good price �2.60 but there was no other ale on offer!! the grey haired fellow (the 'friendly' lanlord?)) behind the bar was clueless and not altogether friendly. strange chap. seems a shame that this once great local boozer is heading for the tubes....
