The Admiral Byng, Potters Bar

This pub is nice, cheap, good food (although I fear standards are slightly slipping at present). Friendly, Jovial bar staff (except that miserable chinese woman) and usually a nice friendly atmosphere.. does tend to fill up with chav morons on a friday or saturday night, but it's to be expected of pretty much everywhere these days..

The Bald Faced Stag, East Finchley

If you go to this pub in the afternoon or during the early evening in the week, it is very nice.. quiet, friendly staff.. good price. Food is excellent as well. No real complaints at all except it does attract a lot of dickheads at night and weekends - which is a shame of course..
