Yes, it is a bit on the pricey side - however, this is a small price to pay as the prices do keep the scummy chavs away, and as a result there is never that nasty undercurrent of tension you feel in the chav pubs like The Opera House and The Litten Tree, when you just know it is going to kick off at some point because one chav has more Elizabeth Duke cheap tat on than another chav.

This is a nice place to drink, heartilly recommended.

My favourite pub in TW - a proper pub where you can get a decent beer and prop up the bar having a chat: yes, the food times can be somewhat erratic, but hey, of you want to eat good food, go to a restaurant. Excellent place.

The Litten Tree, Tunbridge Wells

Nasty place: this pub houses all that is bad about TW, namely the pikies (chavs) who seem hell bent on spoiling everybody elses night out. AVOID AVOID AVOID.
