The Hallcross, Doncaster

Yesterday was my first visit. It's a virtually unspoilt backstret local with a number of small bars/snugs. There is a friendly welcome with conversation encouraged. Yesterday the two guest beers were York Constantine and Betwixt Dark Matter, in addition to the regular Jennings Ale, Burton Ale and Tetley Bitter/Mild. I'd certainly come here again.

The Flying Childers, Doncaster

Great atmospheric pub in a tiny alleyway though plenty enough people find it. The best pint of Deuchars ive ever had and I have tried the toasties and sausage sandwiches which are quite good value for the area. It's also none too expensive given its location.
