The Enterprise, Chalk Farm

i've been here a couple of times, and always thought it was a fun pub. until last weekend when my friend got threatened by a local (for putting her suitcase down in the wrong place). the local stood by our table and shouted abuse (saying her was going to knife us when we left the pub). We felt threatened and asked the bar staff to help (i.e. throw him out). Their initial response was that they couldn't do anything as there "were only 3 girls working that day" - then when I saw a male bar staff come in (from smoking outside) I requested his help. His response was "there is nothing we can do as he is a local". what a joke. we ended up getting help off other tables to move away from the treatening guy, and my friend had to leave very scared out the back door (in case he followed her). what sort of pub sticks up for drunks who are abusive towards a table of girls, just because they are locals. i would never recommend this pub to anyone
