Can only think recent reviews are a blip - have used the pub fairly regularly since new manager took over (looks a bit like Uncle Fester from the Addams family!!) and never had any problems with food, service or staff - In fact quite the opposite, everything has been great. Will check again next week to see if anyting has changed and report back

New management now in place and a huge improvement!! Improvements in staffing and decor make this local a lot more welcoming - Still no beers on handpump BUT!!!! now serving Hoggleys beers from the barrel! Back on the up and still improving - give it a try!!
