The Black Swan, Martyr's Green

Yes it's a bit pricey, yes it's more of an eating place than a traditional pub but it's a lovely place to enjoy on sunny afternoons and evenings as well as cold winter days. It's great they serve local Surrey beers and for me a good selection of wines.
Plenty of parking space, shame they don't run a taxi'ing service back and forth from the High Street so i didn't have to drive!
If it's this landlord who has supported The Plough as well - good on them for recognising what other great pubs we are lucky enough to have in our area.

The Plough, Cobham

As a local I like what they have done and are trying to do with The Plough. I've been coming here since I was 17 and have seen it go through many ages. The landlord has always been very pleasant to me and other guests I have taken in. The decor may not be to everyone's taste but it's different and interesting. It's a shame it lost some of the regular gents but some of them were generally moaners anyway!
What's great is that the landlord is also trying to encourage people in by putting on some different events and I applaud him for that and hope that we continue to support him. He's interested in knowing what works so rather than post negative comments on this site people should also give feedback when they are there so he can address any problems.
