The New Inn, Winchelsea

On a recent visit we enjoyed some good honest pub food, quality fillet steak that was well presented, the most succulent gammon steak I have ever tasted along with some good old fsshioned puddings, all served to us by an individual who surely must have been dragged from the nearby military canal, unshaven for many days, scruffy, wearing a football shirt and baseball cap? and in desperate need of some deodorant! not the finest waiter I have ever had my food chucked on the table by. Its a nice destination pub but there is plenty of competition around for me to frequent. 5/10 and that is purely for the food and welcoming barman.
