Blue Lion, Holborn

This is a great environment for a proper catch up with friends. You can book ahead to reserve one of their tables, they have some nice wooden/leather booths which sits about four. As a previous reviewer said the music is good but it's not overpoweringly loud so you can still hold a conversation over it. The menu has a wide range of options for vegetarians and meat lovers, and the quality was good. When I went they also managed to cater off-menu for my vegan friend. Now you don't find many pubs that do that willingly!
