Excellent pub and yes it’s not a food pub but if you like beer and haven’t tried it then you are missing out !!

The Old Queens Head, Penn

Cannot comment on the food but on the evening I went the beer and service (young man behind the bar who could pill a pint properly )were terrible and overpriced, The were two traditional beers on offer, Green King and Ruddles Country (£3.80) I left half the pint and went over the road to the Red Lion Give this pub a miss
