The Bell Inn, Shepperton

Right, I'll try again, my first review did not appear.

Great Pub & landlord, knows how to look after beer, keeps the lines clean and beer kept exceptionally well.
Saw darts on the bar so traditional games are catered for.

2 standard beers on from adnams & courage plus 2 guests.
Nice crowd, good atmosphere, glad I looked at the reviews from Oliver & Pete.

Will try the food in the future and post up results later

The Load Of Hay, Uxbridge

I really do miss Ken, the food is very average nowdays, beer is still pretty good, the quiz machine and projection tv are a pain in the arse, like 2 or 3 of the punters who spoil it for the rest. If you want a quiet drink & a natter then the front bar is best. The new ladies & gents are now off the dining area, spotless and clean, a great improvement. Orange juice machine is a very welcome addition.

Ram, Hayes

Was a good pub when it was Youngs, but now it's yet another Green King Giant-plate disaster.

This is the worst GK pub I have ever drunk and ate in.
On last sunday my mate dave and me walked in and asked for a pint, sorry sir, no cask beer anymore.
Ok, so we ordered a gas filled ruddles for dave and I ordered a guinness.
Sorry sir, only extra cold guinness, yuck!

We then ordered two roast chicken dinners because they didn't have roast pork or roast beef. BIG mistake. The chicken must have been in a rotisserie for days, very dark, fatty and like rubber. The veg was frozen mixed veg the cheapest you can get and the roast spuds were frozen mccain type items but again the cheapest of the cheap.

I hate to say this but I really do believe now that Green King is out to destroy the pub as we know it in the name of more and more profits.

Avoid this place at all costs.
