The Crown Inn, Knaphill

Visited The Crown today at lunchtime with a group of new mums. Ignore all reviews written before Feb 2011 as the new landlords took over then. Lovely decor,we were made to feel really welcome by the landlady. Had coffee and a homemade Victoria sponge, delicious. The owners are definately looking for a new client base. The menu looked inviting and I felt it would be a pleasant place to enjoy a drink and a bite to eat in the day or evening with friends or as a couple. Great new daytime meeting place for new mum's in Knaphill without feeling the intimidation you feel in some pubs as a woman. Would happily turn up alone and wait for friends to join me. Give it a go you will be pleasantly suprised.
