Nags Head, Reading

This pub demonstrates that people still love a good simple pub. Great selection of real ales and ciders - dart board and lots of old fashion conversation. Dodgy area so what ? This is a pub that attracts a clientele that loves pub life.

The Lincoln Lounge, Kings Cross

Discovered the Lincoln Lounge some 5 years ago -allways enjoyed my visits. Great layed back feel. Not a real ale haunt but good lagers. The rough edges have been smoothed out over the years (a bit like the area) but still maintains a chic charm.

The King Charles I, Kings Cross

Work in Kings Cross and this is my fave - love the Brodies very well kept slightly random choice at times have visited and all 3 on offer over 6% but adds to the charm, lovely barmaids and bar billiards - a character all of its own.
