Sale Hotel is what I would call an "old mans pub" but that doesn't stop me (a 19 yr old student) from going. Quiz night (thursday) is always good (despite the face you have to be over 50 to know most of the answers...) Some drinks are a little on the expensive side...
Food good, jukebox good, pool table thats almost always free, VERY friendly staff.

Avoid this place on friday/saturday evenings unless jailbait, scallies, and general annoyance is what you desire. During the week its not too bad - drink prices are alright, its not too full, and the foods not bad. Certainly not my favourite pub.
