Went in for a quick pint last week. They don't know how to look after real ale, as my London Pride was off! The toilets are in the basement and were damp and disgusting. Not enough places to sit either.

The Moon and Cross, Waltham Cross
The only pub in Waltham Cross that I really frequent. Great food, decent real ales, and they cater for smokers very well with large umbrella kind of shelters and heaters outside in the courtyard garden.

Vine Inn, Waltham Cross
Recently refurbished. Now has a modern style inside, done to a fairly good standard, however the atmosphere has been totally lost! Food fairly expensive for what you get. On a plus, the pub has a large garden, which is nice in the summer, however the garden is right by a busy roundabout.
