The Crown Colham Green, Hillingdon

We had previously visited the Crown as a family for a meal and enjoyed the food and atmosphere. However anyone with families should be aware that you can't just turn up as before in the day and early evening for a meal if you have children with you. We didn't know this and were turned away in quite a frosty manner even though the pub was empty . We were really disapointed by this and won't return .We thought that the issue could have been dealt with more sensibly by letting our family eat today , but telling us that in future we need to book ,which would have been fine by us. A real shame as we did like the pub and visited several times a year but we didn't know about the new rules and were made to feel quite embarrased.
