Shoulder of Mutton, Middleton Tyas

They were busy so waiting for food was not a problem. However, when frozen peas arrive cold and watery, chips hot, but not all thoroughly cooked, and a pie that was mediocre - all for just under �10.00 per person we were not impressed. Add to that a distinct lack of couteousness and I'm surprised by the above comments of excellent food. It may have been an off day/change of management/chef etc but when we visit the village again we certainly won't be frequenting there again! Good luck!
