The Wenlock Arms, Hoxton

I regularly drink here cos I live very close by, I also love real ale. I moved down to London from the North and this is a fantastic place to meet people, and drink, and be jolly. I'm a local and support me local and they support me! It's a community, not a tourist attraction. It just happens to serve great real ale and food and be in the community, all at the same time. I think a lot of the locals can get 'protective', yeah so what, its crazy, it's intimate. Thats the way it is. Come here for the drink and the banter, wipe your feet on the way out, if you don't like the locals , tough.. its a pub. they paid for the furniture, I'd expect the same near you. ciau 4 now
