The Otter Ale is popular and well kept and is some of the best I have tasted. The food is pretty good also.

Things have moved on since the last review. Still an excellent pub now run by Johnathan Smith who brews his own beer at the pub. The mild, "Amy's Rose" is superb.

The Hand In Hand, Wimbledon Common
Took my daughter for lunch yesterday. Staff were generally friendly and helpful. The beer was excellent quality but we thought the food was over priced for what it was - the Cumberland sausages and mash consisted of 2 sausages no bigger than my thumb - even the staff said they were embarrassed. AND is it a London thing, or what, but how is it that the price of the beer and the menu prices DO NOT include VAT - but the bill does!
