Now reopened as The Kinsale, an Irish pub.
The Doom Bar was good.
The owner is actually Irish and a happy, pleasant chap, though he's from Dublin and not Kinsale.

The Antelope, Mumbles

Jan 2014. Still boarded up and covered in "Danger - Keep Out" style notices. The whole place looks like its about to fall over into the road.
I think (and note the use of the word 'think') that whoever owns it may have been given an ultimatum, given the scaffolding around it.

Harbourmaster, Aberaeron

I had a tidy pint of house bitter, brewed by the Purple Moose brewery.

However, a pint and a small glass of wine came to over �7. I expect this in London, but not in rural Wales.
I guess they need to charge those prices to keep the decor up, which is quite bar like and not the most welcoming.

I had the burger with Snowdonia cheddar. It was good, but the burger needs to be made of fattier meat; mine kept falling apart. Also, �11 is extortionate for, what is, a rural Wales pub.

Nice place, but don't park your London price sensibilities!
