The Crown Hotel, Wells

I believe the below review to be very harsh. The atmosphere is very nice in the pub, and probably has the best tap beer in Wells (exlcuding City Arms but its a struggle to get to the bar there). The cloths have since departed and it is now no smoking.

The King's Head, Wells

Bouncers are there for late licensing purposes and on the whole are some of the best I have met. The beer on tap is not all that good but the bar man knows quite a few novelty drinks. It can be quite noisy, which is annoying if your are trying to hold a conversation. Never seen a fight in there.
