The Three Crowns, Whaddon

Hound of the Baskervilles dog has gone (along with the previous landlord) thank goodness and the pub is lovely now with its new landlords, who have really made it nice, improving both the garden and the interior. This is a historic pub on what used to be the main Salisbury to Southampton road, but is now a lovely quiet rural cul de sac. However travellers between Salsibury and Southhampton will have no trouble finding it as it is located just off the Southern end of the A36 Alderbury by pass. Good food, lovely hosts and great rural walks from the front door.
