The New Inn, Cerne Abbas

Having read the reviews on food at the New Inn we thought we were at a different New Inn when we visited on 1st September. The bar itself was dull and dreary with old odd tables and mismatched chairs. The food was disappointing. We had a bar lunch of spaghetti with minced beef and pork ragout which was just completely tasteless. As the meals came within a few minutes of ordering , they were obviously microwaved, also overpriced.
The staff although pleasant enough were scruffy - our waitress in what appeared to be paint or bleach spattered shorts. The barman/waiter looked unprofessional too.
We will not be going to the New Inn again
