very friendly pub, welcoming and great food

The Black Horse, York

Unwelcoming atmosphere, food was mediocure and the beer was flat when I visited. Would reconsider returning but would hope for better sevice this time. under new managment signs gave the impression this pub has moved forward but in my opinion it seems to have moved backwards
