The Golden Ball, Appleby-in-Westmorland
Lovely atmosphere & beer second to none. Manager rotates guest ales on a regular basis. Best pub to use during the horse fair. BUT REMEMBER all pubs in Appleby add £1+ on during the fair so bring plenty of money if you drink more than one pint!
